The New York Times - The appeal of Seattle’s waterfront restaurants — with views of freshwater lakes and majestic Puget Sound — often starts and ends with those vistas. Westward, which opened last September, doesn’t fall into that category. The views are spectacular; located on the north shore of Lake Union, the restaurant overlooks the lake and, beyond it, the Space Needle and city skyline. But it is what’s on the menu that bumps Westward into a different tier.
